? Source?potential?suppliers?that?can?meet?Avery’s?requirements?efficiently?and?effectively.
? Identify?potential?suppliers,?conduct?supplier?visits?and?audits,?collect?samples,?and?support?supplier?selection?according?to?established?procedures.
? Work?closely?with?Product?Development,?Marketing,?Engineering?and?Supplier?chain?team?on?early?product?development?and?sourcing?activities.
? Develop?and?maintain?supplier?relationships?to?ensure?good?partnership?with?the?suppliers.
? Understand?suppliers?capabilities,?maintain?supplier?database?for?current?and?potential?suppliers.
? Collect?new?products/ideas?from?existing?supplier?periodically?to?support?business?growth.
? Support?NPD?team?for?raw?material?qualification?and?lead?Spec?negotiation/signing
? Arrange?and?follow?up?new?raw?materials?testing.
? Support?other?project?works?as?needed
? Travel?to?customers,?suppliers,?and?other?locations?as?needed.
? Build?supplier?platform?about?supplier?capability,?and?develop?strategic?supplier?to?ensure?quick?and?effective?response?to?customer?need.
WHAT?WE?WILL?BE?LOOKING?FOR?IN?YOU:
? 3+?years’?sourcing/procurement,?Engineering?or?supplier?quality?related?experience?is?preferred.
? Broad?product?and?process?knowledge,?including?plastic,?Paper,?printing,?adhesive,?etc.
? Familiar?with?manufacture?process,?product?development,?testing?and?application.
? Good?oral?and?written?communication?skills?in?English?and?Mandarin,?able?to?read?technique?and?engineering?specification?in?English.
EDUCATION:
? Bachelor’s?degree?in?a?related?field,?Chemical?/?Polymer?background?is?a?plus.
