Responsibilities:
1.?Assists?in?managing?adherence?to?policies?and?procedures?with?a?focus?on?process?improvement.?
2.?Helps?to?manages,?leads,?coaches?and?develops?the?staff?within?the?Accounting?Team?in?conjunction?with?completion?of?underlying?activities,?accountabilities,?and?deliverables
3.?Ensures?compliance?with?established?accounting?policies
4.?Performs?monthly?financial?analysis?and?reporting
5.?Reviews?the?general?ledger?on?weekly?and?monthly?basis?to?ensure?accuracy?and?consistency?in?coding?of?Accounts?Payable,?Account?Receivable?payroll,?investment?activity,?etc.?including?preparation?of?monthly?expense?variance?analysis
6.?Ensures?the?timely?and?accurate?accounting?reports
7.?Reviews?the?account?reconciliations,?schedules?&?accounting?matters?as?prepared?by?the?Accounting?Team?for?presentation?to?controller?and?top?management
8.?Participates?in?the?preparation?of?budget?/?forecast,?and?provides?analytical?commentary?to?explain?the?difference?between?actual?and?expected?result.
9.?Leads?the?Accounting?Team?through?external?&?internal?audit?requests?for?information?ensuring?thorough?advance?preparation?and?audit?readiness.
10.?Responds?to?ad?hoc?information?and?reporting?requests?from?management?
11.?Facilitates?the?control?standards,?processes/?systems?as?they?relate?to?Accounting?Balance?Sheet?and?P&L?accountabilities
12.?Ensures?that?all?Governmental?and?related?agencies?regulations?are?followed?and?requirements?are?met
13.?Provides?the?required?tax?information?for?accuracy?and?assist?the?CPA?with?review?and?filling?required?reports?to?Government?and?related?agencies
14.?Assists?the?Controller?with?US?accounting?and?take?charge?of?all?of?all?accounting?Mather?in?her?absence
