This?position?requires?flexibility?in?travel—up?to?about?50%,?including?travel?to?San?Jose?for?at?least?2?weeks?in?a?quarter?along?with?customer?visits?and?support?for?speaking?engagements?at?conferences?as?required.
Day-to-Day?Responsibilities

??Understand?and?champion?product?requirements?specific?to?the?GEO?during?product?planning?sessions?with?global?product?management?by?adopting?a?business?outlook
??Coordinate,?prioritize?and?track?requests?for?enhancements?(RFEs)?from?customers?and?account?teams?with?the?goals?of?driving?revenues?and?RoI
??Must?be?intimately?familiar?with?the?segment?product?line?both?in?terms?of?technical?capabilities,?value?proposition,?as?well?as?competitive?positioning?in?the?market.
??Conduct?training?for?sales?and?SEs?in?the?GEOs?on?product?positioning,?roadmaps?and?key?solutions
??Customize?solutions,?collateral?and?product?presentations?for?use?by?local?GEO?teams
??Support?the?global?product?management?team?in?determining?appropriate?go-to-market?and?partner?strategies?for?the?GEO
??Provide?key?input?during?product?planning?and?forecast?reviews?on?demand?from?GEO,?particularly?during?new?product?introduction
??Monitor?top?deals?in?progress?in?current?quarter?in?the?GEO?and?remove?inhibitors?to?closing?those?deals?successfully
??Assist?product?marketing?in?determining?marketing?strategies?relevant?to?the?GEO
??Speaker?at?local?events?and?conferences?on?topics?that?would?be?a?strategic?fit
Service?Provider?Product?Manager?Requirements
??Must?have?experience?working?with?Service?Providers?and/or?high?end?enterprises.?Knowledge?of?region?specific?Tier1?and?Tier?2?Service?Provider?network?requirements?and?deployment?models.
??Experience?with?Voice,?Video,?Data?and?Mobile?networks?leveraging?Carrier?Ethernet?and?MPLS?technologies
??Expert?understanding?of?Routing?and?Bridging?including?use?cases?of?deployment?with?BGP,?OSPF,?VRRP,?Link?Aggregation,?Spanning?Tree?and?others.
??Knowledge?of?Service?Provider?specific?Channel?Partners?in?the?region.
Education?and?Experience
??BS?w/?12?years?experience?or?MS?w/?10?years?experience?in?IP?and?Ethernet?networking?industry?or?equivalent
??Demonstrated?product?management?experience?for?at?least?5+?years?in?the?area?of?relevant?networking?technologies
??Recognized?expert?in?the?domain?of?Ethernet?switching,?IP?routing?and?Data?Center?networking?technologies
??Due?to?the?dynamic?and?complex?nature?of?the?IP?networking?space,?the?candidate?must?possess:??a?keen?technical?mind?capable?of?quickly?grasping?and?adapting?to?new?technologies?and?concepts,?experience?in?high?technology?strategy?creation,?with?the?ability?to?think?beyond?the?here-and-now
