整個挑戰(zhàn)歷程涵蓋了從研制到海試兩個階段，第一階段是共同研制“彩虹魚”號萬米級載人潛水器及為其配套的4800噸級的“張謇”號科考母船；第二階段則是為期4年充滿挑戰(zhàn)的深海下潛測試，并計劃于2020年完成“彩虹魚”號載人潛水器馬里亞納海溝11000米海試，實現(xiàn)人類歷史上第一次科學家、企業(yè)家和潛航員三人同艙下潛至深淵極限。

The?adventure?to?challenge?the?extreme?of?hadal?zones?will?go?through?two?phases.?During?the?first?phase,?we?will?focus?on?the?research?and?development?of??“Rainbowfish”?11000?meter?deep?manned?submersible?as?well?as?its?4800-ton?mother?ship,?“Zhang?Jian”.??The?second?phase?will?be?a?four-year?long?submersible?sea?trials?up?to?full?ocean?depth.?We?plan?to?reach?the?depth?of?11,000?meters?in?Mariana?Trench?in?2020,?which?will?become?the?first?time?in?human?history?to?carry?a?scientist,?an?entrepreneur?and?a?oceanaut?to?the?extreme?of?hadal?zones?in?the?world.
The?cooperation?between?Rainbowfish?and?HAST?has?created?a?new?development?mode?that?connects?scientists?and?entrepreneurs,?utilizing?national?supports?and?private?investments?while?establishing?opened?financing?platform.?By?building?a?word-class?movable?laboratory?for?hadal?science?and?technology,?Rainbowfish?and?HAST?are?promoting?the?industrializing?of?hadal?science?and?technology?which?covered?research?vessels?services?and?deep-sea?technology?development?services,?deep-sea?and?high-?end?equipment’?manufacturing,?biomedical?engineering?and?resource?developments.
