整個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)歷程涵蓋了從研制到海試兩個(gè)階段，第一階段是共同研制“彩虹魚(yú)”號(hào)萬(wàn)米級(jí)載人潛水器及為其配套的4800噸級(jí)的“張謇”號(hào)科考母船；第二階段則是為期4年充滿挑戰(zhàn)的深海下潛測(cè)試，并計(jì)劃于2020年完成“彩虹魚(yú)”號(hào)載人潛水器馬里亞納海溝11000米海試，實(shí)現(xiàn)人類歷史上第一次科學(xué)家、企業(yè)家和潛航員三人同艙下潛至深淵極限。

Challenging?the?extreme?of?hadal?zones?and?exploring?the?deep-sea?world?are?always?the?dream?of?mankind.?Along?with?Hadal?Science?and?Technology?research?center?(HAST)?of?Shanghai?Ocean?University,?Rainbowfish?has?started?its?path?to?challenge?the?11000m?undersea,?the?extreme?of?hadal?zones.
The?adventure?to?challenge?the?extreme?of?hadal?zones?will?go?through?two?phases.?During?the?first?phase,?we?will?focus?on?the?research?and?development?of??“Rainbowfish”?11000?meter?deep?manned?submersible?as?well?as?its?4800-ton?mother?ship,?“Zhang?Jian”.??The?second?phase?will?be?a?four-year?long?submersible?sea?trials?up?to?full?ocean?depth.?We?plan?to?reach?the?depth?of?11,000?meters?in?Mariana?Trench?in?2020,?which?will?become?the?first?time?in?human?history?to?carry?a?scientist,?an?entrepreneur?and?a?oceanaut?to?the?extreme?of?hadal?zones?in?the?world.
